When a client approached Ampla Finance for support with ongoing divorce and related legal proceedings, they needed access to funding to help progress their case while financial disclosure was still underway. 

The client required a total facility of £82,500, comprising funding for financial remedy proceedings arising from the divorce, alongside associated legal matters. 

At the time of application, the case was at the pre-disclosure stage, meaning the full extent of the marital assets had not yet been established. Following a review of the available information, we agreed an initial advance of £12,500 to support the immediate next steps in the proceedings. 

The initial advance will assist with progressing the matter through to the exchange of Form E disclosures, as well as covering outstanding legal costs incurred to date. Subject to the review of financial disclosure documentation and there being no material changes in circumstances, the remaining balance of the approved facility may be made available at a later stage. 

The application process moved quickly, with the application received on a Monday and a formal offer issued the following day, helping the client move forward without unnecessary delay.
